Step into the magic of the holiday season aboard vintage streetcars at Halton County Radial Railway in Milton, Ontario! “Christmas on the Rails 2025” returns this December for two enchanting weekends – December 6–7 and December 13–14, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This beloved family event transforms the museum into a winter wonderland, where twinkling lights, festive carols, and the charm of historic streetcars create memories that last a lifetime.
What to Expect
Vintage Streetcar Rides
Experience a 20-minute ride through the snow-covered woods aboard beautifully restored streetcars. Each ride feels like stepping into a Christmas story — complete with carols and cheer along the rails.
Santa’s Special Visit
Santa himself roams the grounds, greeting families and sometimes even hopping aboard to drive the streetcar “to the North Pole”!
New This Year: Cookie Decorating in Barn 4
Kids can decorate their own cookies between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for just $5 per child. Be sure to arrive early as quantities are limited.
Festive Treats & Warm Drinks
Enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, cider, and fresh cookies as you explore the beautifully lit museum buildings and grounds.
