Indigo’s March Break “Spring Play Days” are Back: 7 Days of $5 Fun (Plus a $5 Gift Card!)

Are you looking for ways to keep the kids entertained this March Break without breaking the bank? Indigo (and Chapters) has just announced their 2026 Spring Play Days lineup, and it’s one of the best value deals of the season.

From March 15th to March 21st (dates vary slightly by province*), participating Indigo and Chapters stores across Canada will host daily themed events.

The Deal: Pay $5, Get $5 Back

To participate in the daily events, you must register your child online. While there is a small registration fee, here is why it’s a favourite for deal hunters: every registered child receives an Indigo Gift Card upon arrival for the full value of their ticket.

Standard Days: $5.00 registration = $5 Indigo Gift Card back.
Special Tonies Day (Tuesday): $15.00 registration = $15 Indigo Gift Card back.

2026 Event Schedule

Activities usually run at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily. Here is what you can expect this year:

Sunday: Origami Stars Workshop – Create magical paper keepsakes and enjoy a dreamy storytime.
Monday: LEGO® Make-and-Take – Build a custom LEGO Bush Plane to take home.
Tuesday: Creative Character Studio – Featuring Tonies! Kids can paint and decorate their own DIY figurine.
Wednesday: Generation Doll Party – Decorate a doll-sized T-shirt and enjoy Robert Munsch stories.
Thursday: Magna-Tiles® Flower Fun – A spring-themed building session plus a microMAGS keychain giveaway.
Friday: Wonder Co. Paint & Create – Get messy (in a good way) with rock painting or ceramic house decorating.
Saturday: Pete the Cat Friendship Party – Make sensory bead bracelets and celebrate everyone's favourite cool cat.
