Canadian Tamil Academy

The Canadian Tamil Academy is a federally registered non-for-profit organization in Canada. Established in 1993, CTA prides itself in being a pioneer organization in preserving and cultivating the beauty of the Tamil language, literature, culture and history within the diaspora community. CTA’s mission is to educate and empower upcoming generations of Canadian Tamils to connect with their language and identity. The CTA strives to achieve its mandate through various programs catered to enrich knowledge and engagement with the Tamil language, literature, culture and history.

The programs within the academy are divided into six divisions as listed below:
